Data You Give Us Directly
A name or location entered in a search box goes to the third-party company operating that tool. Pulaski County Criminal History does not retain or log those search terms on its own systems.
An email sent directly to the operator may be kept long enough to respond and manage the correspondence. It is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is legally required.
Data We Gather Automatically
Standard technical information may be recorded when a page loads:
- referring site, when available
- pages viewed and time spent on them
- browser type and version
- device type and operating system
- IP address
- page-view timestamps
Cookies and analytics services help measure traffic, popular pages, and site performance. Browser controls can block cookies, although doing so may change how some features work.
What We Do With This Data
- diagnose and repair technical problems
- operate the service and improve load times
- measure which content visitors use
- send search submissions to the selected partner
- display advertising that may reflect visitor interests
No Criminal-Record Data on File
Pulaski County Criminal History does not compile, maintain, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It publishes general directions to PCSO, Pulaski County courts, the Arkansas Crime Information Center, Arkansas State Police, and the Arkansas Sex Offender Registry. Visitor information is not assembled into a consumer report, and the operator is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Their privacy policies, retention rules, prices, and sharing practices apply to information entered there. Review the relevant partner policy before submitting a query because those practices are not controlled by Pulaski County Criminal History.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to courts, sheriff and police pages, Arkansas agencies, legal-aid resources, advertisers, and search providers. Once a visitor leaves this resource, the destination's privacy policy controls. Read it before providing personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and select ads. That processing occurs outside this site's systems.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be available to:
- analytics providers that measure performance and traffic
- search partners processing a visitor's query
- advertising networks placing ads
- government or law-enforcement bodies acting under a valid legal requirement
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable, standard safeguards are used for information under the operator's control. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so a breach or unauthorized access cannot be ruled out.
Users Under 18
This resource is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Information identified as belonging to a minor will be deleted when the operator becomes aware of it.
Your Data Rights
Applicable Arkansas and federal privacy or consumer law may provide rights depending on the facts and the visitor's location. Public government records follow separate rules: the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act, Ark. Code Ann. § 25-19-101 et seq., governs many agency records, while Ark. Code Ann. § 12-12-1508 limits ordinary FOIA treatment of covered criminal-history information. A visitor may request:
- access to personal data held about them
- correction of inaccurate personal data
- deletion where the law permits it
- an opt-out from certain processing where applicable
Updates to This Policy
A revised policy may be posted when practices or legal duties change. The new version takes effect when published with an updated effective date.
